IGNITE Runs over a five month period and consists of four modules:

Module ONE

Foundations of Coaching Excellence

Module ONE delves into the fundamental aspects of coaching. This module is designed to equip you with essential skills and insights, shaping the core principles of effective coaching.

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the essence of coaching, distinguishing what it is and what it is not.
  • Explore the holistic nature of coaching, delving into the ‘being’ of coaching encompassing the head, heart, and hands of coaching.
  • Dive into the theoretical underpinnings of coach training, covering self-actualization, change, neuroscience, and systemic thinking.
  • Familiarize yourself with the powerful CREATE framework and its pivotal components.
  • Master the art of the CONNECT step within the CREATE framework.
  • Introduce and explore the RESULTS step within the CREATE framework.
  • Acquire the skills to establish trust, recognizing its pivotal role in the coaching relationship.
  • Learn to expertly frame coaching sessions for optimal effectiveness.
  • Develop the ability to build rapport seamlessly, understanding its significance in the coaching dynamic.

  • Two and a half hours of small group mentoring
  • Four hours individual coach mentor session (groups of 3 delegates with one mentor. Each delegate does two coaching sessions with written feedback equivalent to 1.5 hours of 1-1 mentoring)
  • One hour individual mentor session
  • Two hours of study buddy practice

Dive into the pivotal phase of coaching mastery. This module is designed to equip coaches with the skills and strategies needed to help clients move from thinking to doing so that they can take effective action to ensure success.

Outcomes
  • Effectively apply the ACTION PLANNING, TAKING ACTION, and EXTENDED LEARNING steps of the CREATE framework, ensuring a structured and strategic approach to coaching.
  • Acquire the skill of providing constructive feedback, enhancing your ability to guide and support your coachees on their journey of growth.
  • Collaborate with clients to co-create goals, actions, and accountability measures that not only integrate new learning but also expand their potential for success.
  • Support clients in identifying additional learning opportunities from the action steps they undertake, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Celebrate the client’s progress and learning, creating a positive and motivating environment for sustained development.
  • Facilitate an exploration of progress towards the client’s desired accomplishments, identifying and overcoming obstacles to propel them forward.
  • Assist coachees in harnessing their newfound knowledge and applying it to various contexts within the work environment and personal life.
